Live In Singapore: Dream-pop Japanese quartet, The fin.

Originating from Kobe, Japan, London-based quartet The fin. will be showcasing their European influenced synth-pop, chillwave and dream-pop to the Singaporean audience on Thursday night at Millian Singapore courtesy of Symmetry Entertainment.

Formed in 2012, the band has performed before thousands of  at major Japanese festivals including Fuji Rock, Rising Sun and Viva La Rock. The quartet of Yuto Uchino (vocals and synths), Ryosuke Odagaki (guitar), Takayasu Taguchi (bass) and Kaoru Nakazawa (drums) then set their sights worldwide when they embarked on a major tour of the US, which included a performance at SXSW, before signing to Lost In The Manor and releasing their debut UK EP, ‘Night Time’.

In 2016, they released the excellent album ‘Through The Deep’ which only served to demonstrate the depth of The fin. as a band with western and eastern influences which were clearly reflected in the soundscape of the album.

With TROPOS alumni Subsonic Eye opening for the night, the night promises to be an ethereal one with textural sounds and dreamlike vibes.
